Although I do have to say that I found I needed to keep the pizza in for longer than expected to ensure that the middle was not doughy. You get a pretty good bang for your buck here. Real pizza ovens can be a lot more than what you are putting out for this.It heated up quickly. As soon as my grill was around 425, the pizza oven was a temperature. It was bout 3-5 minutes behind my grill temp. The oven comfortably holds any pizza 12” or smaller. I had a problem with the dough sticking to the pizza stone. Only to realize after reading the manual, that you should lightly sprinkle some flour on the pizza stone to avoid sticking. RTFM.The manual also reports you should turn the pizza Avery 45 seconds or so. I found turning it every 60 seconds worked just fine. The pizza brown very nicely around the crust and bottom. But left the center of the pizza slightly doughy. So just be sure to experiment a bit to get the perfect pizza. I found I needed to add about 4 – 5 minutes to my normal cook time since the heat is not direct like in an oven. But the end result, was a crispy crust and bottom and a deliciously hot topping array that we consumed post haste. The thermostat on the top is handy so you can tell when it is time to add the pizza. When cooking your pizza … just be patient. It will probably take a few tries at it to get the timing, sizing and portioning of ingredients correct. But once you get it … it is a whole new world. You can bust out personal pizzas in minutes and its fast and fun.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, I really liked this pizza oven. A couple of things to keep in mind. I would keep your toppings to a minimum or you will run the risk of burning your crust and bottom in order to cook the toppings. I would not put over 3 – 4 toppings to be safe. My pizza stone is already discolored but from what I read that is normal and common. If you spill ingredients, don’t worry as the pizza oven will incinerate anything as long as you give it some extra time after you remove your pizza to burn up anything that was left over. It can be a bit difficult to see to the back of the oven so you can use a flashlight to make sure you are not burning anything. I honestly think this is a steal for $100 dollars. Hope this information was helpful. [5 Stars]
