Wiring was a piece of cake and this was a lot cleaner than the Boss brand video amp I was using before it. I have an entertainment system I designed for my minivan on long trips that can repeat the signal to the rear entertainment system and again to a screen up front. An amp like this is cleaner than a splitter because it amplifies the signal to all available outputs so they are the same strength and clarity instead of weakening each one (an analog Y split cable, for example, splits the power between all connected devices resulting in a weaker signal).I like that this supports AHD as well as composite CVBS. I’m using just straight CVBS over plain old RCA cables and it looks perfect. Very happy with it.
