About This Remanufactured Borg Warner V2S Twin Turbo Set — Ford 6.4L Power Stroke The Ford 6.4L Power Stroke diesel used in 2008–2010 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks uses a sequential compound turbocharger system — a small high-pressure turbo and a large low-pressure turbo working in series. This Borg Warner V2S set (Part # 479514) is the complete replacement package for both units. The compound system delivers exceptional low-end torque and excellent high-load airflow capacity, but it also means twice the components that can wear. Sequential system failures often present as low boost at light throttle (high-pressure turbo failure), limited top-end power (low-pressure turbo failure), or both. This remanufactured set is rebuilt at PT Turbo in San Bernardino, California, with both units fully disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt with new bearings and seals.
